Lately I’ve just had the itch for quirky and interesting… and this one delivers that in spades! I’m not going to play it down - this isn’t a watch you wear to blend in.
18k rose gold, diamond bezel, and a chronograph that uses rotating discs instead of sub-dials, which is a direct nod to Nicolas Rieussec’s original 1821 design that used spinning ink discs to record time. Cool right?
Manufacture monopusher movement from Montblanc’s Le Locle atelier. Cal. MBR 200, double barrels, 72 hour power reserve. The caseback is stunning! Solid gold deployant clasp, and a HEFTY chunk of gold in the case, I can see this being more with a darker strap- but the choice is yours!
