Today I’ve got the Breitling Super Avenger. And as the name suggests, this thing doesn’t exactly do subtle.
A huge slab of stainless steel, pilot chronograph layout, rider-tab bezel, and a wrist presence that you simply can’t ignore! This is one of those watches that reminds you Breitling built their reputation making serious tools for pilots. As a bonus if we ever run into a global shortage of stainless steel, whoever owns one of these is basically automatic Lord status.
This example comes as a 2010 full set from Watches of Switzerland, in excellent condition and running beautifully. It’s currently fitted to a rubber strap for comfort, but also includes the original Breitling steel bracelet if you want to go full tank mode.
A whole lot of watch, and a whole lot of value.
