An offshore that makes a lot of sense!

Known as the Rubberclad, there are a few things I really like about these.

First off… price. Every now and then you can pick one up for great money considering it’s a Holy Trinity icon. Getting into Audemars Piguet for this sort of money is pretty hard to argue with.

Second… wearability. You don’t have to worry about ruining the bezel with every little bump or scuff, meaning you can wear it without having to baby it.

Third… the fit. 42mm on paper, but they just wear incredibly well. The lugs curve down nicely, the rubber strap keeps it light and comfortable, and on wrist they feel surprisingly balanced

Just a great wearing experience overall.

This example is a 2005 piece, both presenting and running beautifully!
