One I’ve wanted to stock for a long time, but I’ve been holding out for a great deal - and here it is!
This is the AP Code in solid 18k rose gold, with a black lacquered dial and rose gold indices. Bit of a love it or hate it reference, but I think there’s a lot to love.
First off it’s got a very unique and cool case - octagonal middle (a nod to AP’s most popular line), open-worked lugs, typical AP extraordinary level finishing throughout, and the most unique double-curved sapphire crystal. A lot of money was spent on these subtle details.
Inside it’s running the same 4302 movement used in the Royal Oak, with 70hr power reserve, solid gold rotor and lots more hand finishing.
The strap is a durable woven textile with super comfortable leather lining inside, and an 18k gold buckle unique to the Code 11 line - all fixed with hexagonal screws (the same ones used on the Royal Oak’s bezel) for security over standard springbars.
All in all, an excellent condition example with warranty cards, priced I think cheapest we’ve seen in Australia yet for a gold reference
