Putting one of these on reminds you that some people are way overpaying just for a brand name.
I reckon people get too hung up on the “other” white dial chronograph and completely overlook these. The El Primero is one of the greatest chronograph movements ever made, the case is spot on, and at under ten grand they’re ridiculously good buying.
This one has just come back from a full AD service in January 2026, and I’ve had my own watchmaker give it the tick this week as well.
It’s currently sized to suit around an 18.5cm wrist as it’s missing 1-2 of bracelet links - priced accordingly. It also comes with 2x additional genuine Zenith straps, which cost around $500 each!
Current RRP is over $19k.
At $9,500 I don’t think you’ll find much that offers this much watch for the money.
