The 5227 is a Calatrava I adore!
It strikes a perfect balance of Patek-level craftsmanship and restraint. Inverted teardrop lug profiles, Côtes de Genève striping, perlage, hand-finished bevels - paired with a simple but beautifully executed ivory lacquer dial and high-polish gold indices. Simple at a glance, but the more you look the more you see.
The other showpiece is the hinged officer’s style caseback. Flips open to reveal the in-house Cal. 324 SC through a sapphire display crystal with 21k gold rotor. The kind of detail that makes the watch feel a bit special every time you put it on. It’s amazing they have been able to keep the watch this thin while incorporating this feature.
