The sapphire version is a great watch. But the hesalite is the OG. Always has been, always will be. If you’re going to wear one of the most historical watches in history, might as well wear it how it was intended.
This is the pre-2021 spec running the Cal. 1861 - the calibre that powered the Speedy through decades of moon landing history. Plenty of collectors specifically prefer the older 1861 for that reason. Excellent condition, one-owner watch, 2019, full set.
