My Thoughts
Bit of a sleeper in the Cartier range, these!
I reckon the Calibre strikes a really nice balance between an everyday sports watch and something a little dressier. 42mm case, black dial with those big Cartier Romans, and a beautiful black alligator strap with the double-adjustable folding clasp. When fastened, the strap ends are completely concealed, leaving just the buckle visible. Very neat setup!
You’ve also got the small seconds, triple-aperture date, faceted blue spinel set into the crown and of course, a sapphire exhibition caseback showing off Cartier’s in-house 1904-PS MC movement. After all, it is called the Calibre!
Not one you see come up all that often, but a great one to add to the collection as an all rounder!
