My Thoughts
I love these early references that paved the way for some of the Grand Seikos we know and love today.
The SBGE001 has a lot going for it.
A fully lumed sapphire bezel, Spring Drive, GMT function and power reserve, all packed into a really attractive case.
On paper it’s 44mm, but don’t let that put you off. The short, squared-off lugs make it wear far smaller than the dimensions would suggest.
The watch, the box and all of the inclusions present beautifully, and I purchased this one directly from Japan
