My Thoughts
If someone asked me which five-digit Submariner is the one to have, I’d struggle to go past the Kermit.
Released to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Submariner, it introduced the green bezel that went on to become one of the most recognisable design cues Rolex has ever produced. Looking back now, it really was the watch that started it all.
This one’s a great . Beautiful thick lugs, a sharp case, 12-link bracelet with a crisp coronet clasp and running beautifully. It’s just an honest, well-kept Kermit… and I reckon that’s exactly how they should be.
