My Thoughts
As beautiful as a champagne President is, this is the sort of Day-Date that gets my attention!
That matte blue dial is so much less common, and the applied gold Romans almost disappear and reappear when the sun hits them - an absolute nightmare to photograph, but beautiful in person!
And I like that this one is honest. There’s some patina forming through the gold, the bracelet is surprisingly good for its age, the crystal is clean, and it’s just been fully serviced and keeping perfect time.
Rare enough to feel special, but still exactly what a vintage gold President should be.
